The Hanson boys

Welcome to this page - unnoficial - but still very cool! I have specifically made this page for Hanson Lovers. I know there are heaps and heaps and heaps of other Hanson Pages out there, but I love the band so much I just couldn’t help myself. Sorry.

So, who is Hanson, I hear you ask. Actually, I know you’re not asking that, but I’ll tell you anyway. Hanson is a really cool band. There are three guys in the band - Isaac, Taylor and Zac. They are only teenagers (actually, Zac is 11) but they are one of the most popular bands around. People are obsessed with them and there good looks, singing style and there all round personality.

They come from Tulsa, Oklahoma. They started 5 years ago, and had 12 different rejections from recording companies before Mercury records spotted them at the Blue Rose Café, playing outside because they were too young to get in! Mercury signed them in May, 1996, and now, just over a year later, they are nearly No: 1 in every chart with their hit single MMMBop, a song about friendship and relationships. They learnt to sing when their parents taught them - around the dinner table (really), and soon after they each started learning the piano.

They now have yet another hit single out ‘Wheres The Love’ which almost immediately went to No: 1 all over the world. There next single is ‘I Will Come to You" and the video clip for this has already been released on MTV.

What's New?

* You may also know that Hanson have a Christmas album coming out soon… It will be called Snowed In and features songs like "Run Run Rudolph,'' "Merry Christmas Baby,'' and ``That's What Christmas Means To Me''.
* You probably didn’t think the Hanson clan could get much bigger… but you were wrong. Diana Hanson is is expecting her 7th child in January of 1998…
* Many of you have written in about the story on this page. A lot of you would like to see the epilogue to the story… so check back in about a week, and you can find out everything that happened afterwards…
* This November, check out "Tulsa, Tokyo, and the Middle of Nowhere." It is a Hanson home video of their tours. If you went to Hanson’s concerts, you maybe on this!

* September 22," I Will Come To You " was released for radio air play. Call your local station to request it.

* Hanson s next original album release date is December 1998---98!!

* Middle of Nowhere has sold over 3 million copies. The boys hope to do it again with their next album, which is scheduled to be released December 1998. To help with their next single, Missing You, the brothers have hired 14-year old violinist, Sarah Lauve. Sarah was hired to play the background violin and the 24-second violin/cello solo.
