Tay’s full name is Jordan Taylor Hanson. Apart from the nickname Tay, he is also known as Tayles. He was born on March 14, 1983, which makes him 14 years old and a Pisces. Like Isaac and Zac he too was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but has lived elsewhere at different times.

His favourite colour is red, because it makes everything beautiful and because red candy tastes the best (of course!). His second favourite colour is blue.

At the moment he is single, mainly because he doesn’t have time for a girlfriend. Sorry, girls! Taylor has never had a girlfriend and says that he isn't looking for one, but says he loves girls, especially (quote) Jennifer Anston, and Baby Spice (Emma Bunton).

In the band he is the lead singer in nearly every song, but he also plays the keyboard, synthesizer, bongos and tambourine.

He is shy - he blushes easily - but he likes interviews, TV appearances (ah, the thrills of being famous) and friendly, loves to flirt, and blends the zaniness of Zac with the intelligence of Ike.

His eyes are blue, his hair is blonde/dirty blonde, he is 5’7" and has often been compared to Kurt Cobain when he was young, with a shoe size of 13, and a weight of 115lbs.

He likes computing, reading, rollerblading (been doing it for 5 or 6 years now) cartooning (he and Zac drew the muscle men on the CD), soccer and drawing, as well as singing and music, of course. And his favourite subjects are literature and computing (it’s been said he’s got his own Acer laptop).

He is left handed, and has a long hair tail at the back of his hair, which you don’t notice. Other things you don’t notice, apart from the obvious, are the scar on the left side of his face (he ran into a glass door), a mole on the left side of his chin, a scar on the back of his leg from soccer and a scar on his back from roller blading.

His worst habit is that he taps his fingers on everything, but as he says on the talk shows, he "can’t help it."

His favourite foods are burritos (yummy), giant steaks, fish, chicken, cheeseburgers with the works, and his moms brownies (how sweet). His favourite ice-cream flavor is strawberry. He also seems to like jellybeans because when asked what he would buy with $20.00, he replied, "Jellybeans, lots and lots of jellybeans!"

Rumors have it that his voice changed during the making of the MMMBop video, but others say its his nerves. I think I’ll stay out of that one, I don’t want to get on anyone’s wrong side. But I do think people should stop going on about his voice changing, it probably embarrasses him.

Another thing that embarrasses him is Zac(sibling rivalry), but Ike and Tay have always been best friends (brotherly love).

His favourite TV shows are Frasier, Friends, Seinfeld, and the animaniacs, because he loves comedies. He also likes Tom Cruise as an actor.

Bands he loves are No Doubt, Counting Crows, Natalie Merchant, Kenny G, Spin Doctors, Phish (who?), Alanis Morrisette, Blues Traveler and Billy Joel.

Apparently at night he gets as zany as Zac and acts really funny and goofy. I’d like to see that.

His favourite shirt is his maroon Adidas shirt, you’ll see him wearing it in many pictures. He also wears a couple of necklaces at all times, one is a cross and one is a soccer ball.

He loves to hang with his friends, which are hard for him to make because he does home schooling with his mum and a math tutor. Apparently he has a lisp because of his retainer, but I don’t know if half of this stuff is true. It wasn’t me, I tell you!

He likes dolphins a lot, and it’s been said he has his own little putty tat. How sweet.

For all you obsessed Taylor fans out there, here’s some useless facts. His toothbrush is aquamarine, he uses herbal essences shampoo, he used to run around with a sword when he was little, and he sleeps in boxers and a tank top. He also has a yellow and black watch.

He’s obsessed too. He used to never take his baseball cap off, and he loves to listen to Casey’s Top 40. We go for Ugly Phil over hear in Australia.

Ike and Zac think Taylor us a perfectionist in just about everything he does. Typical.

Tay has said before, that if he hadn't gotten into the music business, he wouldn't have minded being an architect or an interior designer and would still like to try acting.

Overall, Taylor seems to have the most obsessive fans, but I suppose they have good reason to like him so much. He is sweet, pretty good looking (or babelicious as my friend would say) and he has got a voice made for Heaven!
